What an unforgettable moment when our global fintech entrepreneurs, investors & visionaries arrived in London to meet for the global book signing afternoon and could see their FINTECH Book for the 1st time! It all started out with an idea between Janos Barberis and I more than a year ago and now our dream became reality and we were able to hold The FINTECH Book (published by Wiley in April 2016) in our hands!
As the FINTECH Book is the first crowd-sourced book on the global fintech sector, the 1st stop for our Global Authors was Book Signing of 200 Copies for our evening Guests & all Contributors!
In parallel some of our Authors were interviewed by the video crew – interviews will be made available on our website from mid April 2016.
Then our Authors Workshop started where each Author provided a short introduction and many global fintech friendships were made:
At 6pm our 120+ guests arrived and the atmosphere was fantastic – so much FINTECH Buzz and excitement connecting us all.
A big thank you to our great sponsors – Warwick Business School (WBS), The Just Loans Group PLC and IBM and for great keynotes by Markos Zachariadis, John Davies and Paolo Sironi:
Finally Thomas Hyrkiel, our Publisher at Wiley surprised us with wonderful news – The FINTECH Book is on its way to become a global Bestseller with pre-orders of more than 2,500 copies!!
To hold the global Fintech Ecosystem in your hands, you can pre-order The FINTECH Book also on Amazon here (Amazon currently offers special pre-release price). Don’t forget to leave a review – we have special surprises prepared for the first 100 reviewers!!

On the 23rd Nov 2015 I was invited as a Judge to the Cambridge Business School Accelerator which organized it’s first FINTECH start-up weekend from 21-23 November 2014.
This three-day intensive event brought together finance and innovation entrepreneurs who wanted to address challenges in tomorrow’s banking. Participants had 54 hours to test their idea, build a team and pitch to a panel of judges. It was a great event and I was very impressed by both the students knowledge and enthusiasm for the fintech sector and the supportive environment by the Accelerator.
Enabling meaningful venture creation out of Cambridge
Accelerate Cambridge is a start-up “accelerator” established by Cambridge Judge Business School in May 2012. The School is situated in the centre of Cambridge, at the heart of the University of Cambridge and the Cambridge Cluster, the city’s academic and business networks, both of which have a long tradition of entrepreneurship.
